We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focused Auto Electrician who’s ready to take on exciting challenges and make a real impact within our terminal.

QUALIFICATION

• PETT / Tradesman’s Certificate in Auto Electrical or relevant qualification

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5–10 years with proven work experience in a similar role
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
• Strong experience in installing, maintain, and troubleshoot wiring systems, alternators, starter motors, batteries, and lighting systems
• Implementing innovative solutions to complex wiring problems, resulting in improved overall performance.
• Experience in Preventative Maintenance Program
• Interpret wiring diagrams and technical manual

KNOWLEDGE

• A solid grasp of concept such a s voltage, current, resistance and circuit theory
• Understanding how electrical circuits work, including series and parallel circuits, helps in troubleshooting and repair faults
• Knowing how various components like fuses, relays and switches operate and interact within vehicle’s electrical systems
• Proficiency in the specific electrical systems used in vehicles, including ignition systems, charging systems and advanced technologies.
• Familiar with complex systems, including hybrid equipment
