Key Responsibilities
Board Directors, as Members of NICTA, are responsible for the overall management and control of the Authority's business and affairs. Decisions are made by a majority vote.
Key Requirements
Candidates for the Non-Executive Board Director role should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Telecommunications, ICT, Law, Business, or Economics, with a postgraduate degree being preferred. They must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the telecommunications/ICT sector and public service, demonstrating strong leadership, strategic thinking, and prior board experience. Essential skills include corporate governance, navigating regulatory environments, financial oversight, and risk management.
