JOB SCOPE
You will provide technical support activities to internal Users at our Entities performing Software/Systems, Hardware, and Network troubleshooting and applying basic fix and resolving IT related issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshooting issues on Hardware and Network system/devices performance and operation
- Software installations, repair and basic user support to the use of standard (Windows OS, MS Office, MS Exchange/Outlook, Adobe applications, Anti-Virus and others)
- Understand operations of Subsidiary specific applications
- Effectively perform Local and Network printer setup and configurations
- Liaise with subsidiary representatives on any IT related problems and issues
- Efficiently manage overall support services provided to Subsidiaries in accordance with respective Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Accessing and updating SDP task records for Subsidiary reported incidents within the required timeframes/deadlines.
SKILLS
Must possess practical evidence and sound levels and understanding of:
- Networks, Telecommunication, Wireless, and Mobility
- Principles of Information Technology
- Fundamental IT User skills
- Risk Management, Security, and Information Assurance
- Compliance
- Class 3 PNG Driver’s License with safe driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE
- Diploma in Computers and/or Information Technology
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years verifiable working experience in a similar job with excellent written references.
- New ICT Diploma graduates are also invited to apply and will be considered accordingly.

WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm and 8am to 12pm on one fortnightly Saturday or as is required to serve the needs of the subsidiaries. Working on public holidays may be required if the need arises and Public Holiday or overtime pay is paid accordingly.
TRAINING
In recognition of your contribution, we in turn will provide on-the-job training as well as soft skill training at the Kenmore Training Centre to advance your workplace professional development.
LOCATION
Port Moresby and Lae.
