Job Summary: The Information Technology Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing all IT matters within the organization. This includes the maintenance and updating of company servers, ensuring optimal system performance, and developing and managing social media content to enhance our online presence. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy individual with a passion for technology and social media.

Key Responsibilities:
1) IT Management:
- Oversee the maintenance, security, and updating of company servers and networks.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing efficient solutions to staff.
- Ensure data backups are conducted regularly and that necessary security measures are in place.
2) System Administration:
- Monitor and optimize server performance to ensure reliability and accessibility.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes and infrastructure.
3) Social Media Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media content strategies across various platforms.
- Create engaging and informative content tailored to our audience, ensuring brand consistency.
- Monitor social media trends and analyse engagement metrics to refine our approach.
4) IT Management:

7) Technical Support and Training:
- Provide technical support and training to staff on IT systems and social media tools.
- Assist in onboarding new employees with relevant IT training and resources.
8) Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to identify technological needs and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align IT and social media strategies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT management and server administration.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with content management systems and social media analytics tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications related to IT and networks (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft).
- Experience in graphic design or video editing tools for creating compelling social media content.
- Knowledge of SEO and online marketing strategies
