Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Parts Sales Executive to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling automotive parts and accessories to retail and trade customers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires a good understanding of automotive components, strong communication skills, and a proactive sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts and accessories.
- Process orders efficiently via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, pricing, and promotions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade clients, workshops, and fleet operators.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Keep records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory movements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in automotive parts sales or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive components and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using inventory management and sales software.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Technical or vocational training in automotive or mechanical fields (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in parts sales or automotive retail.
Working Conditions:
- Office and showroom environment with occasional visits to client sites.
- May require lifting or moving automotive parts.
- Fast-paced and customer-focused setting.
