Job Title: Pharmacist - Wholesale Distribution
Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented pharmacist to join our team at a Modern Pharmaceutical Limited. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing pharmaceutical inventories, ensuring accurate tracking of stock, and utilizing Excel for reporting and data analysis. This role also involves maintaining quality documents for all products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and registering each product with the National Department of Health. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and the safe distribution of pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the inventory of pharmaceutical products, ensuring stock accuracy, proper storage, and monitoring of expiry dates.
- Use Excel to track inventory levels, create detailed stock reports.
- Ensure compliance with National Department of Health regulations for pharmaceutical distribution, including labeling, storage, and documentation standards.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies, performing regular stock audits to verify accuracy.
- Maintain quality documentation for all pharmaceutical products, ensuring that each product meets required standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate deliveries and ensure that pharmaceutical products reach customers on time.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, and returns, in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Assist with preparing and submitting regular inventory and quality assurance using Excel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent.
- Licensed pharmacist
- Experience in pharmaceutical warehousing, logistics, or distribution (preferred).
- Familiarity with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office tools.
Work Environment:
- Full-time position in a wholesale distribution setting.
- Office and warehouse-based, with regular working hours.
