JOB DESCRIPTION
|
The primary responsibility of the Pharmacist role is to procure, take stock, and dispense medical supplies effectively and efficiently.
|
|
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS
|
- Conduct regular inventory audit of all medical supplies.
- Maintain a suffecient medical and pharamaceutical supply inventory.
- Organize and co-ordinate the procurement of medical supplies from suppliers.
- Dispense medical supplies to Health Centres and Aid posts
- Ensure all drugs and other medical consumables are used before their expiry dates.
- Keep up-to-date record of medical supplies on SAP system.
- Advice company doctors and other health professionals about new drug innovations, their adverse effects and necessary interventions.
- Assume leadership in the absence of SIC and doctors.
- Carry out other duties as directed by company doctors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
|
|
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
|
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Registered and licensed with the relevant Pharmacy or Medical Board
|

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing orders and schedules.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to plan and organize tasks strategically.

EXPERIENCE
|
- 3-5 years of experience in hospital, clinic, industrial or community pharmacy (preferred).
- Hands-on experience in dispensing medical supplies and inventory management, including stock control, storage and expiry monitoring.
- Experience complying with pharmaceutical regulations and professional standards,including accurate record-keeping and safe handling of medical supplies.
