We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of plumbing systems, performing repairs, installations, and maintenance while adhering to safety standards and building codes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Make plumbing repairs such as unclogging toilets or drains, replacing faucets and fix leaking pipes
installing and maintaining plumbing systems
Ensure systems meet all standards of building codes and safety.
Cut openings in structures in preparation for pipes.
Assemble and install valves and fittings, pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking,
Install other plumbing equipment, such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, air conditioners, appliances, and trim.
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle
Test pipe systems and fix leaks.
Perform scheduled maintenance
Clean up job sites and ensure that they are cleared of tools and debris during a job and after its completion
Job Requirements
Diploma/Certificate in plumbing trade from a recognized institution
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience
Strong knowledge of plumbing tools and an understanding of how basic plumbing systems work
Physically fit
Strong mathematical skills and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail
Apply safety principles/practices at work
Honest and ethical person
Non betelnut chewer, non-smoker
Sober habits
