Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible to do daily pre-check on the machine by 8:15am. Machine should always be operating before 8.30am.
• Responsible to operate the reach stacker for:
  • Unloading containers coming into the yard from wharf
  • Loading container for deliveries
  • Internal container lifts from under bond area to customer respective stack
  • Laydown of containers at sheds 1-8 for unpacking when required
  • Laydown Inspection containers at Inspection area per respective Jobs.
• Responsible to act as container locator to assist yard clerks when not operating the machine.
• Responsible to report any incident that occurs while operating the reach stacker
• Responsible to ensure that containers are stacked in order – all doors Facing same direction.
• Responsible to ensure containers are stacked per client and not mixed with other client containers.
• Responsible to assist all BUs when required
• Work Overtime when required
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the ICD Manager and/or the FCL Team Leader.

Back up Responsibilities:

• Operate Omega when required
• Night Shift when required
• Backup in absence of Yard1 Gate-in clerk, Gate-out clerk, and/or Yard clerk

KPI

• Zero incident of damaged containers
• On time performance of lift request
