Sales Cashier

We are pleased to announce open vacancy now exists in our Commercial Division for interested,qualified and experienced Sales Cashier.

Based in Port Moresby Vision City Sales Office, this position reports to Sales Manager. The role of the position is to precisely coordinate sales ticketing payments and banking.

The Sales Cashier will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Adhere to SOPs and IATA rules for proper sales and cash handling
• Attention to detail
• Handling customer ticketing payments
• Daily banking
• Reporting on daily payments received
• Supporting reservation officers in sales managment duties

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or grade 12 qualification.
• 1-3 years of work experience in cash handling, cashier roles or relative fields
• Sober habits and flexible
• Can work under minimun supervision
• Display a sound understanding of customer service responsibilites in the aviation industry.
• Hard working, trustworthy and results oriented/focused.
• Computer literate with excel skills an advantage to do daily reports
