PNG Motors is one of Papua New Guinea’s leading automotive groups, representing brands like Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Suzuki, JMC and Joylong. In Kokopo, this isn’t a quiet workshop — it’s a working operation supporting real customers who rely on their vehicles every day.

We’re looking for a Service Manager who can take control of the workshop, lead from the front, and deliver results.

This is not a role for someone who wants to “step up.” This is for someone who already knows how to run a service department and is ready to own it.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be running the entire service operation — from the front counter to the workshop floor. That means managing technicians, controlling workflow, and making sure jobs move efficiently, correctly, and on time.

You’ll drive productivity, manage costs, and ensure the workshop hits its targets. When things get busy (and they will), you’ll be the one keeping it together — prioritising jobs, solving problems, and making decisions that keep the business moving.

You’ll also handle customer issues when they arise, not avoid them. The expectation is simple: problems get solved properly.

Who This Suits
This suits someone who has already been in charge of a workshop and understands what it takes to keep it running.

You know how to manage technicians, deal with customers, and work with parts and admin teams without things falling apart. You’re comfortable making decisions, holding people accountable, and stepping in when needed.

You don’t wait to be told what to do. You take ownership.
