Position Title: Tradesman Auto Electrician

Reporting Line: Service Managers in respective branches.

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced and skillful Auto Electricians to join our dynamic team in various Boroko Motors branches in PNG. This role involves diagnosing, installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems and components in vehicles. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of modern vehicle electronics, strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilites:

• Diagnose electrical faults using specialized diagnostic equipment.
• Install & repair electrical components such as alternators, batteries, starter motors and wiring systems.
• Maintain and upgrade electronic systems including GPS units, alarms, audia systems and lighting.
• Troubleshoot and repair vehicle control units and sensor systems.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
• Provide accurate work estimates and maintain service records.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure intergrated repair solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Trade certificate (NATTB) in Tradesman Auto Electrician.
• Proven 2-3 years experience as an Auto Electrician Technician in the Automotive Industry.
• Strong understanding of Vehicle Electrical systems and components.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detial and time management skills.
