The role in a nutshell:

Reporting directly to the CFO you will be responsible to effectively manage the overall finance and accounting function of the business which includes governance, compliance, planning, reporting and leading various stakeholder departments throughout the group.

Key requirements:
  • Planning, developing and implementing strategic and operational plans and financial forecasts
  • Formulation and review of the annual and supplementary budgets and plans
  • Timely advise and recommendations to the management on the company’s financials for informed decision making
  • Overall accountability for timely completion of internal & external audits.
  • Engage with various departments’ preparation of documents from business case to implementation of core modules of the ERP systems – including Technology One.
  • Engage with external consultants in preparing the Finance and Accounting System design and documentation
  • Reporting of the ERP project deliverables and their status to management
  • Timely and accurate completion of the Board and Management reports
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Degree in Business Accounting, Commerce or Finance
  • Must be a Certified Practitioner of Accounting (CPAPNG qualified)
  • 10 years+ experience in a management role within the banking or financial industry
  • Hands on knowledge and experience in ERP software’s (i.e. Technology One)
  • Must have proven records in Strategic Planning, Project Management and ERP planning
  • Must be familiar with latest business intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated leadership & management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and develop staff
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer literacy skills
  • High level of personal integrity/credibility and work ethics
  • Must be fully vaccinated from COVID-19
