  • Operate in a high-trust, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Gain visible, board-level exposure and meaningful responsibility

Join this forward-thinking organisation as Assistant Company Secretary, where you’ll play a key role supporting the leadership team and investor boards. Working closely with an experienced Company Secretary, you’ll help ensure board processes run smoothly, communications are clear, and governance obligations are met confidently.

This is an exciting opportunity for a legally trained professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes initiative, and wants meaningful exposure to corporate governance and board operations.

This role is for someone ready to take ownership, contribute at a high level, and grow alongside a talented governance team. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy making an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll support up to five investor boards, including quarterly meetings and the annual AGM. You will coordinate agendas, board packs, minutes, and logistics, ensuring communications are clear, consistent, and professional.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating board and committee meetings end-to-end
  • Preparing accurate, timely, and high-quality board papers and minutes
  • Managing communications with board directors and senior stakeholders
  • Supporting the Company Secretary and wider governance team
This is a hands-on, high-impact role that values organisation, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. You will be relied upon to take instruction, act decisively, and manage competing priorities confidently while maintaining professionalism and discretion.

What We’re Looking For

You are organised, proactive, and communicate confidently. You understand how your work contributes to the wider business and are comfortable managing multiple priorities.

You will bring:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage deadlines across multiple boards
  • Confidence to liaise with board directors and senior stakeholders
Industry experience is flexible — capability, initiative and execution matter most.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Law strongly preferred)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a Company Secretary or Assistant Company Secretary role
  • Solid understanding of corporate governance principles and board procedures
  • Proven experience preparing board packs and minutes
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Apply today! This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of board governance, processes, and communications across multiple investor boards.
