The Manager Credit Risk will review and recommend improvements to the Credit Risk Policy and Procedures Manual, procedures, internal regulations, and product policy papers to ensure compliance with the Group’s Credit Risk Management Framework and the prudential standards of BPNG. The role will support the credit approval and maintenance of commercial loans and reviewing the performance of the retail portfolios within the institutions accepted risk parameters.

This role will be Responsible for but not limited to:

• Develop and implement and operationalise the Credit Risk management framework, policies and strategies in relation to credit risk whilst adhering to best practice.
• Promoting a strong control environment and a risk culture that is forward-looking, risk-based and customer-focused
• Prepare and execute the annual compliance plans
• Provide appropriate risk reporting for ELT and relevant stakeholders
• Assessment of periodic industry reviews and make recommendations
• Attending Group Credit Risk Committee meetings with the CRO to present monthly quarterly Group Credit Risk Management report.
• Maintain Group Credit Policy and Procedures to ensure relevant risks are mitigated and develop strategies to effectively manage credit risk portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Business Management Studies
• Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in Lending/Credit Risk Management
• Full knowledge of credit administration and credit appraisal and analysis techniques for corporate and retail lending
• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
• Developing and reviewing credit policies and standards to reflect best practice
• Well-versed in management of credit risk and regulatory requirements
• Strong Analytical & Reporting and Credit Risk Management Skills as well as critical thinking skills and the ability to think strategically
• Excellent written and communication skills with an active communication and knowledge sharing style
