Customer Care & Marketing Manager

The Role

The Customer Care & Marketing Manager is part of the OEPNG management team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position is primarily responsible for developing marketing strategies to increase brand equity. Managing Customer Care daily and implementing new strategies on improving the service we provide to enable the business to achieve its Customer Service aspiration of “personal touch – Deliver in full, quality and on time”. Other responsibilities include;

  • Develop long term marketing strategy
  • Develop and monitor annual marketing plans and budgets in consultation with Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow brand equity, market and advertise our products and services
  • Conduct and analyze annual customer surveys
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to improve our level of customer service
  • Monitor and report on Customer Service KPI’s
  • Manage advertising and promotional marketing to ensure activities are fit for purpose, within reasonable budget and generate a return.
  • Conduct trade marketing activities to increase the sale of domestic appliances and service.
  • Manage customer care to ensure we uphold our commitments to our customers.
  • Provide HSE leadership in promoting high standards of HSE through Origin HSE programs and initiatives and drive achievement of HSE objectives and KPI’s
  • Review staff performance to ensure job competency levels are maintained.

The person we seek must have the following qualifications and experience;

  • Degree qualification in Marketing or Management from recognized tertiary institution
  • Excellent MS office skills
  • Excellent customer service qualities
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in similar management role
  • Exposure to a complex retail environment or energy industry

The person must also have the following attributes;

  • Values relationship building and a personal touch,
  • Proactive, committed and trustworthy
  • Willingness to learn and a team player
  • Outcome driven and ability to motivate team
  • Good personal grooming etiquette
  • Values safety and positive driver behavior
