Finance Manager – Operations Finance & Analytics Focus

In this position, you would join market leaders in one of the country’s fastest paced industries. This is an organisation who rewards innovative ideas, and are committed to their workforce’s professional development.

Reporting to executive management, you will be in a position to coordinate and manage the finances, financial processes and controls for the organisation’s operations and supply chain division.

Here’s what a week in this role looks like:
  • Coordinate division finances across all aspects of operations, supply chain and logistics;
  • Develop and roll out plans to measure financial, process and operational performance,
  • Manage the preparation of the division’s budget, strategic plans and forecasts;
  • Collaborate with executive management to make process, operational and financial strategic decisions;
  • Oversee the development and monitoring of processes, aiming to identify inefficiencies and strategies to address them;
  • Lead, mentor and develop a talented team of finance specialists

Key requirements:
  • Current Membership with CPAPNG or similar
  • Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Business Management or Administration
  • Previous experience in consultancy environment (Big 4)
  • 10+ years’ experience in finance or management accounting (strong FMCG experience required)
  • Experience with ERP software
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and strong knowledge of business process/function evaluation
  • A passion for leadership and investing in the professional development of others
  • Highly analytical
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – you can interpret and explain complex financial concepts to management and junior staff
  • Interpersonal skills
