INSURANCE BROKER - LAE BRANCH

Reports To: Operations Manager Location: Lae, Papua New Guinea Employment Type: Full-time

ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a motivated and experienced insurance broker to join our Lae branch. The successful candidate will advise clients on insurance products, source appropriate coverage, and ensure policies meet client needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Client advisory: Assess client insurance requirements and provide professional advice.
• Product sourcing: Research and source suitable insurance products from multiple providers.
• Policy negotiation: Negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage with insurers.
• Proposal preparation: Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients.
• Compliance management: Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
• Claims support: Assist clients with claims processes and liaise with insurers.
• Relationship building: Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Industry awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and regulatory changes.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in insurance brokerage or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and market practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• High level of integrity and customer service orientation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.
• Valid driver’s license (mandatory).
