PROJECT FACILITATORS x3 (CARING FOR NUTRITION PROJECT)-BOUGAINVILLE AREA PROGRAM

World Vision currently has vacancies for the position of Project Facilitators x3 to be based in Buin, Autonomous Region of Bougainville. Papua New Guinea

PURPOSE

The project facilitators will assist to facilitate the program in cooperation and collaboration with the organisation, program and project to the local institution in the area of the operation

MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

  • Organize and provide suitable training for Target Groups, Community Leaders, Mobilizes and others in relation to the program.
  • Ensure to meet national level and partnership dead-lines (Budgetary requirements etc.)
  • Develop training and Nutrition education materials in English and in Pidgin for the target group
  • Implement projects activities through multi-sectoral approach - using participatory processes
  • Consultation and networking with various sectors involved in Nutrition & health interventions, including health, social, education, judicial, church, law enforcement sectors, NGOs and other institutions
  • Liaises with other focal points from other NGO’s, ministry of Health for training initiatives
  • Access and collect relevant information & resources
  • Ensure adherence to reporting requirements
  • Budget & activity management of the project

QUALIFICATIO/EXPERIEINCES

  • Diploma /Degree in the Nutrition or related field
  • At least 2-3 experience years in Project management
  • A team player who is willing to work with minimum supervision
  • Possess knowledge of the local community and engagement
  • Computer Literate in MS Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Proven Outstanding Attendance record and Work Commitment ethics

  • Must be a Team Player
  • Residing in Buin
