T.G. Holdings T/A Freeway Motors Limited is looking for exceptional individuals to join our team as

Senior Human Resource Officer.

This role reports to the Group Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Tasion Group Holdings’ human resources functions including recruitment, HR planning, training and development, remuneration and benefits, policy and procedures, performance management, employee relations, succession planning and organizational development.
  • Provides timely advice and support to management and internal stakeholders on human resources matters and issues to ensure effective decision-making and HR services delivery
  • Work efficiently to achieve HR key deliverables within set deadlines
  • Attend to staff queries regarding HR matters whilst maintaining effective service levels
  • Liaise with external parties (Nasfund IRC) on statutory matters of compliance
  • Ensure operational HR support is provided to all staff in the organization
  • Coordinate staff medicals, health & fitness activities as part of OH&S
  • Assist in preparation of HR Management Reports in a timely manner
  • Carry out manpower planning & organization structure updates
  • Assist with staff movement, transfers and promotions
  • Coordinate and handle staff grievances in compliance with the HR Policies
  • Administer and coordinate recruitment, selection and induction processes, including on boarding in consultation with functional areas of the organisation
  • Assist in coordination of training & development programs for staff
  • Monitor and track staff performance and job appraisals
  • Administer staff grievance, discipline, counseling and termination processes
  • Handle staff benefits and remuneration administration
  • Provide feedback to Management to enhance open communications.

Expected Competencies

  • Possess a university degree or advanced diploma with minimum 5 years experience as HR Generalist or similar
  • Sound understanding of PNG HR Laws, Labor & Employment Act
  • Expert or advance user in Able Payroll
  • Advance computer literacy skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong people management and organizational development skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications with high level presentation skills
  • Goal oriented approach to work and ability to meet deadlines
  • Honest and efficient
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in processing all HR information
