Wood is currently seeking expression of interests for Preservation Technician to join our team in LNGP, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on a rotational schedule (28 days on/off, 12 hours per day). Reporting to the Maintenance Preservation Lead, the successful candidates will ensure the preservation activities are conducted safely, following the client procedures and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete preservation activities as requested by the preservation lead.
  • Engage in safe work practices to ensure safety initiatives are adhered to
  • Participate in the collaborative tools to achieve an accident free workplace (JSA, LMRA, OTA, O&I, Procedures & Processes)

Skills / Qualifications

  • Certified to PNG or Australian Standards Trade Certificate in Heavy Equipment and Diesel Fitting trade. Other trades may be accepted.
  • 5 years’ trade experience
  • Proficient in MS excel
  • Experience with SAP and or IPES. would be an advantage
  • Class 6 & 7 Licence approved by PNG RTA
