Administration Assistant

The Role

Italian Gelato PNG is seeking a friendly, reliable, and punctual Administration Assistant to join the team on a part time basis, working from our Six Mile Head Office. Hours and days will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

As the Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the management team in running the daily operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email
• Process invoices and follow up on payments
• Maintain office supplies and ensure they are adequately stocked
• Manage and organize paperwork, documents, and files
• Daily data entry, keep accurate and up to date records
• Maintain good relationships with staff and keep track of department rosters
• Maintain good relationships with wholesale clients and suppliers
• Maintain a schedule for equipment checks and maintenance on a monthly basis
• Maintain inventory and ensure adequate stock levels
• Assist with organising and attending events
• Assist with marketing and promotions
• Assist the Operations Manager with any tasks as requested
• Complete any other tasks as instructed by Management

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a Year 12 Certificate
• Must have experience working in administration and/or operations
• Must have reliable transport and live within NCD
• Must be able to work weekends (where necessary)
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Must speak English well
• Must not have any existing medical conditions
