Our client is looking for a highly experienced Facilities Manager to be an integral part of the Facilities division within their Property's function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the Operational Teams and others within the management group, to plan through life building management, develop and implement key preventative maintenance cycles for building, plant and equipment.

Your Role

You will be required to:

• Plan asset life-cycle maintenance including planning, costing, proposing and manage all capital maintenance projects
• Manage all technical aspects of the operational team within 5 distinct areas, HVAC, Residential, Commercial/Industrial, Warehousing & Building Management Software
• Manage service contract negotiations and implement purchasing and expense control strategies.
• Manage contractor relationships
• Compile reporting as required by management to cover, HSE performance, finances, budget, forecast by activity, operational, and HR reports

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Building Construction or related fields
• 5+ years commercial experience in property and facility management, experience with building management systems is essential
• Financial acumen, with the ability to develop and implement budgets and capital works plans
• Efficient project management and contract negotiation skills
• Computer literate, familiar with Visio and Project Pronto or similar systems
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Able to manage multiple projects
• Keen eye for detail
• High regard for safe work practices and systems
