Forecourt/Pump Attendant

Description:

As a Pump Attendant at V8, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fuel station. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organised work environment, and handling fuel transactions efficiently. If you are a friendly and reliable individual with excellent communication skills, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a vibrant team. We currently have vacancies in both Port Moresby and Lae.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide information on fuel products and services.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Operate fuel dispensing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain an accurate record of daily transactions.
• Keep the fuel station clean, organised, and well-maintained.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning fuel pumps and surrounding areas.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Follow company policies and procedures for fuel handling and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

• Year 10 high school certificate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
