We are currently recruiting for an experienced individual to fill the vacant position of Parts Manager. This position is located within the Parts Department based in the Vanimo Dealership and will report to the Dealership Manager.

Job Summary:
The Parts Manager contributes to the Dealership’s overall profitability and performance by overseeing the daily operations and management of the Parts Sales activities and objectives of the Department / Dealership, whilst promoting after- sales support for products sold and actively marketing the Parts operation in the area.

Main duties / responsibilities include:
  • Manage the operations and staff of the Parts Department.
  • Monitor and control inventory and expenses within budget.
  • Ensure the parts operations are in line with Company processes and guidelines.
  • Achieve set targets in relation to budgets and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Compile and submit scheduled reports as required.
  • Ensure areas for improvement within the team are identified and improved.
  • Liaise directly with major clients to maintain and improve relations.
  • Maintain good employee welfare and morale within the team.
  • Committed to staff training and development.
  • Ensure safety standards and practices are maintained at the workplace.
Experience / Attributes:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or related field is advantageous.
  • At least three years Automotive Parts experience within a management/supervisory role.
  • Proven experience within Automotive Parts Sales and Marketing roles.
  • Good organizational skills and commitment to achieving results.
  • Proven management skills, in terms of people, assets and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds ERA systems & ERANET(would be an advantage)
  • Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, staff and management.
  • Have good leadership skills and be proactive in decision making.
  • Must have a valid and full driver’s license.
  • Be able to live and work in Vanimo
