ChildFund Papua New Guinea is the local representative office of ChildFund Australia, a member of the global ChildFund Alliance. Established in PNG in 1994, ChildFund PNG works in partnership with rural and remote communities to improve the well-being of children and youth.

Our Mission is to help deprived, excluded, and vulnerable children have the capacity to improve their lives and the opportunity to become young adults, parents, and leaders who bring lasting and positive change in their communities.
Its programs are focused on child protection, health, education, and youth empowerment, with a strong emphasis on locally led development.
ChildFund PNG operates in Central Province, National Capital District, AROB, Oro Province and West Sepik Province, implementing initiatives such as:
~Maternal and child health (including nutrition and immunization)
~Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH)
~Education through the Child-Friendly Schools framework
~Protection from gender-based violence, including the 1-Tok Kaunselin Helpim Lain, PNG’s first toll-free family and sexual violence helpline.
