Bismark Maritime Limited is looking for a qualified young individual to fill in below position.

Position: ASSISTANT CREWING MANAGER

Location: Port Moresby

Job Brief:

The role will provide management support to the Crewing Manager for day-to-day activities of Crewing Department with the objective of ensuring the vessels are fully manned with qualified seafarers.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree of any Business related or Human Resource courses.
• With proven experience in Crewing or worked previously on the same role.
• Capable of managing daily crewing operations including but not limited to recruitment, documentations, compliance and administrative duties.
• Excellent knowledge in Crew statutory NMSA requirements and MLC 2006 standards including PNG Worker compliance both local and expatriates.
• With high confidence in dealing with executive management.
• Ability to handle and with high tolerance in dealing different types of personalities.
• Organized and keen to details.
• Self-motivated and excellent work ethic.
• Can work on-call and beyond normal working hours.
• Flexible in a fast paced working environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Must have good English communication skills – verbal and written.
• Must be residing in Port Moresby.
