Position Summary

• Role: Automotive Marketing Manager
• Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
• Reports To: General Manager
• Core Purpose: Drive vehicle sales, parts turnover, and service center bookings by developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns across PNG's unique consumer segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Dealership & Launch Campaigns: Manage high-impact marketing launches for new vehicle models, fleet services, and genuine spare parts.
• Multichannel Advertising: Oversee traditional PNG media (radio, print billboards, television) alongside highly active digital platforms like Facebook to reach commercial and private buyers.
• Showroom & Event Management: Organize dealership test-drive events, corporate fleet showcases, and community-sponsored activations.
• Market Intelligence: Track competitor vehicle pricing, local supply chain trends, and shifts in consumer preference between commercial fleets and private vehicles.
• Co-op Brand Alignment: Coordinate with global automotive manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure local dealership branding complies with international corporate identity guidelines.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field would be viewed as beneficial.
• Experience: Minimum demonstrated 5+ years in marketing xperience, with a strong preference for 2+ years of leadership within the automotive, heavy machinery, or transport sector.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the PNG automotive landscape, including fleet buyer behaviour, dealership dynamics, and local terrain requirements (e.g., 4WD market demand).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital CRM tools, social media ad managers, budget tracking, and event coordination.
