BUILDING TRADE TRAINER/ASSESSOR

We are looking for a highly experienced and trade qualified, carpenter/builder. Applicants must have extensive experience in carpentry and possess the knowledge and skills to provide both on the job training (most important), and training in a classroom environment.

To be successful in this role, you must possess and demonstrate the following:

• Formal tradesman qualification in carpentry and construction
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Certified Trainer/Assessor with NATTB & NTC (or ability to gain certification)
• Expert knowledge of carpentry construction, carpentry and joinery, and block laying
• 5 years’ experience in leading teams on major construction projects
• Ability to train and mentor apprentices and other trades personnel
• Provide on-the-job training
• Computer Literate medium skillset in maintaining Excel spreadsheets database
• Ability to maintain and update training records diligently
• Provide Weekly and Monthly Update on Training Report to your Manager
