Steamships Logistics under Steamships Trading Company is seeking an experienced, results-oriented professional to take on the role of Commercial Analyst. This pivotal position is responsible to take on full ownership of the pricing discipline across Steamships Logistics [primarily Consort Express Lines and East West Transport], ensuring that every rate we offer, from ad hoc jobs to long-term contracts, is market-aligned, commercially justified, and strategically sound.

As a Commercial Analyst, you will:

• Drive the end-to-end pricing strategy.
• Maintain and manage rate cards, developing pricing models grounded in market intelligence and competitive insights.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing and General Managers to balance profitability, competitiveness, and speed to market.
• Take accountability for all pricing decisions, ensuring they are strategically informed and commercially defensible.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in commercial, financial, or analytical role.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. cargowise) is desirable.

Qualifications and Key Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and business performance metrics.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
