The Role
Ignite your career as a Compliance Officer! Drive organizational integrity by ensuring the fund operates in total alignment with regulatory frameworks, expertly monitoring laws, managing risks, and cultivating powerful stakeholder collaborations for seamless governance.

Main duties include:
  • Monitor and interpret all relevant laws and regulations, including the Superannuation (General Provisions) Act and BPNG standards.
  • Develop and maintain the fund’s compliance policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current regulatory standards.
  • Identify and assess compliance risks across all departments and advise senior management on mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff to foster a strong culture of compliance and understanding of obligations.
  • Prepare and submit regular compliance reports and recommendations to internal stakeholders and the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer.
  • Liaise effectively between business units and external regulatory bodies.


Qualification and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a compliance, audit, or legal role, preferably within financial services or superannuation.
  • Professional certification such as CCEP, CAMS, CIA, or CFE is highly advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of the superannuation sector in Papua New Guinea and its legal framework.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate employees and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
