Bismark Maritime Limited is urgently looking for qualified young person to fill in below position.

Position: CONTAINER CONTROLLER

Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in monitoring & updating the movement of all shipping containers on a daily basis; this includes the discharged containers at the wharf and the containers within Port Moresby’s control from Lae – Pom and Kiunga – Pom
• Able to identify and cross-check raw data against what is reflected on system and what is physically on ground and identifying container discrepancies is an important function of the role
• Ability to Communicate with customers on inward and outward shipment as well as long term idle / outstanding containers within the wharf
• Able to assist the Logistics, Operations & Shipping team as well as the detention team in providing administrative customer service when required
• Ability to foster sustainable relationships of trust through an open and interactive communication with clients/customers
• Submit all relevant Certificates
• Able to work overtime and on weekends
• Possess a strong commitment to personal and job safety
• Sober habits, good work ethics
• Strong team player
• Must be fully vaccinated
