Customer Service Advisor

We are seeking individuals with strong customer service experience in a contact centre setting and a proven ability to enhance the customer experience through professionalism and empathy when addressing diverse customer needs.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will confidently and professionally deliver the full range of DHL customer service solutions, including booking services, handling enquiries, providing shipment status updates, tracking, and managing deliveries. You will support all customers engaging with DHL through both the front counter and the contact centre, ensuring a knowledgeable and courteous service at all times.

Responsibilities will include:

• Accept and register bookings for DHL services.
• Attend to customer needs at all times in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
• Provide timely customer feedback to Supervisor and Manager.
• Offer alternatives to customers and seize upselling and cross-selling opportunity of valued added services (e.g. Sales Leads, shipment insurance) during interaction with customer.
• Respond to customers consistently and confidently by providing accurate information in all areas such as custom requirements, transit time and prices.
• Liaise with Operations and other departments for quick and efficient resolution of customer issues and queries.
• Highlight areas for improvement with suggested solutions to improve DHL’s procedures, technology and service to positively enhance customer’s experience with DHL.
• Assist the supervisors (if applicable) to carry out relevant Customer Service orientation / training programs for new or existing Customer Service staff.
• Report hazards, incidents and near missed to your supervisor on the day of the occurrence.

Candidates' requirements for the role include:

• Minimum Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience in Customer Services in a Contact Centre setting.
• Highly developed customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient with the use of computers and other relevant technology.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
• Current police clearance certificate.
