ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to: Director for Library Services
Supervises: Senior Librarians, Library Officers, Support Staff
Coordinates with: Vice Presidents (Academic, Research, Administration & Finance), Faculties, ICT Services, and External Stakeholders
JOB PURPOSE
The Deputy Director - Library Services supports the Director in providing strategic and operational leadership for the Western Pacific University Library. The role contributes to advancing the Western Pacific Digital Library to ensure excellence in supporting student learning, teaching, and research.
The Deputy Director plays a key role in implementing innovative library services, leveraging emerging technologies, and ensuring efficient delivery of resources and services to staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and the wider community.
