Position: Electrical Supervisor

Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Overview: TE (PNG) Ltd is looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to take charge of delivering high quality electrical projects from planning to completion. In this role, you will not only oversee day-to-day operations but also ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver electrical projects across commercial, industrial, and specialised sites.
• Drive compliance with PPL regulations, safety codes, and company standards.
• Oversee site operations – workforce, materials, and subcontractors.
• Apply hands-on technical expertise on complex electrical tasks.
• Prepare precise estimates, bills of materials, and quotations.
• Control budgets, schedules, and progress with clear reporting.
• Enforce quality through inspections and assurance processes.
• Mentor and grow junior team members, building a strong workforce.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships for project success.
• Support integrated systems: UPS, access control, CCTV, BMS, automation.
• Travel as required to manage and support remote operations.

Qualifications:

• Current PPL Electrical Licence (mandatory).
• 10+ years’ experience in the electrical trade, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or project leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver medium to large-scale projects on time and to standard.
• Skilled in preparing quotations, bills of materials, and project documentation.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety, electrical codes, and compliance requirements.
• Valid Driver’s License (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic project/quoting software.
• Technical expertise across.
• Access Control & Electronic Security Systems – CCTV & Surveillance Systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), UPS, critical power, and backup solutions and Automation & system controls.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• ability to balance office-based administration with hands-on site responsibilities.
