We have a vacancy for an ESTIMATOR position in the Civil Division. The position is suited to a candidate who is seeking a stable long-term future with great career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for civil construction projects, including roads, bridges, drainage, and infrastructure works.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine material, labour, and equipment requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services.
• Prepare tender submissions, bills of quantities (BOQ), and cost breakdowns.
• Assist the Project and Commercial teams in budget preparation and cost control during project execution.
• Maintain a database of pricing information and historical project costs.
• Support project managers with variation claims, progress claims, and cost forecasting as required.

Key Requirements.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in estimating within the civil construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (e.g., Auto Cad, CCS/Candy or similar).
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
