KutMor Limited is a nationally owned landowner company that services the Oil & Gas Industry in the Kutubu and Moran areas in the Southern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate for the following role within our Facility Maintenance Department. This is a 4/4 FIFO role located in Kutubu, SHP and reports to the Facility Maintenance Coordinator.

Facility Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

The Facility Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of camp infrastructure, including accommodation, utilities, buildings, and associated services. This role ensures that all maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and client expectations. The Supervisor leads a team of tradespeople and contractors, coordinates work schedules, and ensures timely completion of maintenance tasks to support uninterrupted camp operations.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Lead and supervise maintenance teams responsible for camp infrastructure, including buildings, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and grounds.
• Ensure work instructions, safety protocols, and quality standards are understood and followed by all personnel.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all camp facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with planners, procurement, and vendors to prioritise and execute maintenance tasks.
• Monitor facility performance and respond to faults, breakdowns, and urgent repairs.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Support emergency response planning and execution for facility-related incidents.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Submit daily and weekly reports on maintenance activities and issues.
• Support other FM sections when required.
• Undertake other tasks as directed by the FM Coordinator.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences

• Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, plumbing, refrigeration)
• Proven experience in supervising facility or camp maintenance operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling systems
• Familiarity with safety and compliance requirements in remote camp environments
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in computer-based applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to changing priorities
