Fleet Coordinator

Company and Role Overview

The Adiyap Construction and Labour Hire Limited is a contractor to Ok Tedi Mining Limited in Western Province of Papua New Guinea. ACLHL are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Fleet Coordinator to manage and optimize our vehicle fleet operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, efficient utilization, maintenance of vehicles, and necessary compliance of our fleets while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional service and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day to day operations for the fleet, including vehicle maintenance, scheduling, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and analyse fleet performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and maintain high standards of service.

• Coordinate vehicle assignments and manage driver schedules to maximise fleet utilisation.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and company policies regarding fleet operations.

• Maintain accurate records of the fleet operations, including fuel usage, maintenance history, and accident reports.

Qualification, Experiences and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration or related field.
• 3 plus years of experience in fleet management, logistics or a related field.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of vehicle operating systems and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stake holders.
• Must be extrovert person.
