We are seeking a high-calibre a General Manager who a proven track record in a
GM Commercial role who is ready to take the next step into a broad, business-wide leadership role within a stable and diversified organisation based in Lae, PNG.
This is a high-impact role with responsibility across multiple operating divisions including agriculture, wholesale, animal production, feed operations and property.
The focus is on commercial performance, strategic growth, asset optimisation and long-term value creation inclusive of JV and/or M&A's, with direct exposure to Board-level decision-making.
Key Focus Areas - Drive commercial growth, profitability and new revenue opportunities (including export markets).
- Lead commercial strategy across multiple business units, covering sales, pricing, contracts and asset commercialisation.
- Influence and lead large, diverse teams, building capability and performance across the business.
- Partner with shareholders and Boards on strategic initiatives, investments and growth opportunities.
- Lead change, improve systems and strengthen commercial and operational discipline.
About You
We are looking for a commercially astute, collaborative leader who combines strategic vision with operational expertise, ready to take on a multi-division General Manager role.
- Proven commercial leader with strong financial and strategic capability.
- Experience across sales, contracts, import/export and commercial operations.
- Proven track record and a solid understand of JV's and M&A's.
- Comfortable operating across multiple divisions with both strategic and hands-on involvement.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills up to C/Board level.
- A strong FMCG background is preferred, however experience within the agriculture, primary industries or related sectors would be advantageous.
