About the Role

Steamships is looking for an experienced Group HSEQ Manager to lead our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) strategy across the Steamships Group. This role provides strategic direction, ensures compliance, and drives a strong safety culture across multiple industries, including logistics, property, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSEQ strategy and long-term objectives.
• Lead and mentor divisional HSEQ Managers to ensure consistent standards.
• Oversee safety audits, ISO compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present high-quality reports to the Board and senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field; Cert IV in WHS preferred.
• 5+ years in a senior HSEQ role, ideally in a multi-industry environment.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build a robust safety culture.
