The Role
Lead marketing for a top PNG bank, setting strategy, building the annual plan, managing budgets, and guiding a team of marketing, communications, and design professionals to deliver data-driven, customer-focused campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute marketing strategy aligned with business goals
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of marketing, communications, and design professionals
- Build and manage the annual marketing plan and budget
- Collaborate with product, retail, and digital teams to support initiatives
- Oversee external agencies for creative, media, and digital delivery
- Develop campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels
- Analyse performance, track ROI, and report insights to leadership
Key Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or Finance
- Experience in banking, insurance, telco, or regulated sectors
- Proven brand leadership and market positioning expertise
- Strong digital marketing and customer acquisition skills
- Product marketing experience across retail, SME, and lending
- Data-driven decision-making with analytics and reporting proficiency
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management
- Leadership capability to uplift teams and drive organisational change
