About the Role
The Workplace Health & Safety Supervisor will oversee health, safety, and environmental programs across operational sites, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture. The role involves leading safety initiatives, managing risk assessments, and coordinating emergency and waste management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement workplace safety, risk management, and environmental compliance programs.
  • Implement and supervise risk management programs, including incident investigations toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
  • Oversee environmental and waste management programs, aiming for compliance and sustainability improvements.
  • Coordinate and mentor a small team of safety officers to ensure consistent delivery of safety initiatives.
  • Manage training, awareness programs, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and reporting across all operations.
  • Support emergency preparedness, drills and response programs.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in OHS (preferred) or Certificate IV in WHS/Safety Officer Level III.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in safety and sustainability roles, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial operations.
  • Strong understanding of OHSSE risk management, regulatory compliance, audits, and incident investigation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and safety management software.
  • Experience managing teams, contractors, and hazardous materials/Dangerous Goods compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
