We are seeking to recruit for the position of Camp & Travel Supervisor for our People – Camp & Travel Department. Reporting to the Camp & Travel Superintendent, the primary objective of this role is to supervise the activities of Hidden Valley Camp and Catering contractors to ensure levels of service are provided within the requirements of the relative Service Agreement.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the Camp & Travel team, ensuring efficient delivery of accommodation and travel services.
• Coordinate domestic, international and charter flights, buses, hotels and weekly flight schedules across multiple locations.
• Oversee bus operations, including driver performance, safety, compliance and service delivery.
• Work closely with airport teams to ensure airports are staffed, prepared, operational and compliant.
• Communicate travel, flight and operational changes clearly and promptly to key stakeholders.
• Manage Camp & Travel budgets, including purchase orders, invoices, expenditure tracking and financial reporting.
• Conduct regular camp inspections, dining audits, safety audits and safety observations.
• Manage contractor performance, including monthly invoice verification, contract compliance audits and independent Man Day verification.
• Build strong relationships with operational teams, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure reliable and safe Camp & Travel services.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency, safety and employee experience.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

• Relevant experience in travel coordination and camp management preferably in a mining or heavy resource industry.
• Previous experience working in fly in/fly out (FIFO) operations
• Ability to work effectively with employees, contractors, service providers and management
• Strong computer skills with relevant travel and accommodation systems
• Ability to coordinate multiple travel and accommodation requirements in a fast-paced environment
• Strong planning & organisation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Current PNG Driver’s license
