We are seeking to recruit a Community Liaison Officer, for our Community Affairs Department at Hidden Valley Mine Site. Reporting to the Community Zone Liaison Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible to manage, facilitate and produce information that are in compliance with Company’s policies and to liaise between communities of the Project and Management for better understanding and co-operation.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

• Ensure project awareness is carried out in all communities consistently.
• Maintain a close dialogue and relationship with the stakeholders and other departments for monthly briefing on issues and concerns within the mine site.
• Collaborate with other Departments for bi-monthly site visits for interested members of communities and landowners.
• Production and compilation of information packages to all communities (Landowner, Highway, Riverine).
• Assist other CA sections in their respective tasks.
• Compilation of community concerns and grievances.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

• Tertiary qualifications in Community Development or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 year experience with resource developer or equivalent.
• Sound understanding of conflict resolution and communications skills.
• Excellent Negotiation, Communication and Report writing skills.
• Ability to manage interpersonal and inter-group conflicts
• Computer Literate

The above role is Wau Camp Site Based on a FIFO 14/7 roster
