The Company:

Our client is looking for 2 established Audit professionals to join the PNG finance team in Port Moresby. These individuals will bring a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management,
control, and governance processes. This position is perfect for someone who has proven working experience as a senior auditor and comes from a commercial company background!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control - across multiple business units in PNG operation.
• Management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulation
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
• Responsible for keeping the employer accountable regarding internal company procedures and industry rules. Their duties include studying accounting records, preparing compliance reports and supervising company workflows

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of work experience in an internal audit environment
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, internal auditing, financial
  accounting or financial management is essential
• Accreditation with the Institute of Internal Auditors & CPA Qualification or similar
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
