Operating in Papua New Guinea for over 30 years, Nestle PNG Limited is seeking two (2) experienced Line Leaders with to join our Production Team, based at our Lae Factory.

Reporting directly to the Line Manager, the Line Leader is responsible for leading and owning and end-end performance of the assigned performance lines, ensuring production plans are achieved on time and in full compliance with safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental standards

Key responsibilities:

• Lead assigned production lines to consistently achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and environmental targets.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, food safety, regulatory, and GMP requirements.
• Drive a strong Safety and Quality culture across the production teams.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to ensure production plans are met efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement and loss reduction using PDCA and standard routines.
• Establish and sustain required levels of manufacturing reliability to meet business needs.
• Coach, train, and develop autonomous production teams, promoting accountability and decision making at the lowest appropriate level.
• Maintain strong shop‑floor presence, monitoring compliance with operating standards.
• Collaborate with peer leaders to share best practices and support factory‑wide improvements.
• Promote a positive and respectful employee relations climate.

Qualification, skills, and experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Chemistry, Applied Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within FMCG.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety, quality, food safety, and GMP.
• Demonstrated leadership experience leading teams in a production environment.
• Proven ability to drive performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
