The Role
This exciting position, reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager, requires 5-6 years of work experience in maintenance, planning, and management within a hotel or commercial industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise and knowledge in air-conditioning, electrical installation, and commercial systems.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring efficient and safe services.
Manage budgets and maintain financial records.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Facilitate communication between management and staff.
Ensure effective operations, productivity, and compliance with standards.
Build relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
Lead department briefings and delegate tasks.
Monitor equipment, resources, and stock.
Provide reports on service and audits.
Keep the GM updated on maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Engineering or Certified Trades qualification.
Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
In-depth knowledge of building codes and Health & Safety regulations.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Computer literate and detail-oriented.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Compliant with building codes and high safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure and strong interpersonal skills.
Mature, stable temperament, and deadline-oriented.
Committed to guest satisfaction with a positive attitude.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar position
