About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Management Accountant with exceptional report writing skills to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who excels in managing financial records and producing high-quality reports that provide insights to support strategic decision-making. The Management Accountant responsibilities include preparing financial reports, perform cost analyses, prepare budget reports, and assist with financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and ledgers, ensuring data integrity.
  • Prepare core financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Compile and present clear, comprehensive reports and summaries to support informed decision-making by stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial data and generate customised reports that highlight key trends and actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and support the preparation of required tax documentation
  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and reports
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process through thorough financial analysis.
  • Improve reporting practices to enhance clarity, precision, and impact.
Requirements of the Role
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • CPA (Certified Practising Accountant) qualification
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Attaché, Microsoft Excel, and Word).
  • Exceptional report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
