Where you come in:
In this full-time maximum term position based in Port Moresby, you be responsible for the implementation of all MEAL activities in the relevant provinces, and for working closely with relevant counterparts in the Provincial Health Authority (PHA) to build capacity for monitoring systems, data collection and management, reporting, accountability, and learning. The MEAL Officer reports directly to Save the Children’s National MEAL Manager, with a functional accountability to the SC Field Manager or, designated province, the AIHSS Provincial Coordinator. The MEAL Officer role is designed to monitor and conduct quality checks and manage feedback mechanisms, alongside the PHA MEL team.

You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, expertise in data collection, analysis, and reporting, and proficiency in M&E software and methodologies. Additionally, your excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills, along with a strong understanding of ethical considerations and accountability practices.
