Position Title: Operations Supervisor

Location: Port Moresby, NCD

Department: Fuel Logistics

Reporting to: Regional Contract Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing all daily operations of the EFM Fuel Logistics Division fleet. Oversees vehicle dispatching, driver coordination, fuel delivery schedules, and ensures all transport activities meet safety, compliance, and efficiency standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily delivery operations.

- Supervise and communicate with all drivers to ensure timely dispatch and safe delivery.

- Monitor GPS tracking, journey plans, and on-road performance.

- Ensure vehicle readiness through pre-trip inspections and maintenance checks.

- Maintain communication with depots and ensure correct product loading and documentation.

- Record delivery times, distances, and any incidents for management reporting.

- Handle breakdowns, fuel loss reports, and emergency response procedures.

- Conduct toolbox meetings and reinforce safety standards daily.

- Support driver training and performance monitoring.

- Report directly to management on fleet performance, incidents, and compliance status.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or equivalent industry experience.

- Strong knowledge of fleet operations and dispatching systems.

- Good understanding of safety, compliance, and fuel handling requirements.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing drivers and support staff.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

- Proficient in basic computer systems, spreadsheets, and tracking tools.
